Alex Fund holds event in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York
The Alex Fund, whose main beneficiary is the Fiecare Copil in Scoala (Every child in school) program run by charity Ovidiu Rom, is having a fund raising effort on August 14 at the Montgomery Palace, a 434 acre riverfront estate built in 1805, offering magnificent views of the Hudson River. The event is organized in collaboration with the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, which contributed to the evening’s program.
The evening will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and beautiful music performed by Marcel Pavel, Romanian popular singer and Crina Zancu, lead soprano at the Bucharest National Opera. One ticket costs USD 125.
