Come face to face with old pocket watches as time ticks back
Those with a passion for watches and history might enjoy the exhibition Pocket Watches at Horologivm (5 Boteanu St.). On display are timepieces from the 18th-19th century. Pocket watches were invented centuries before the appearance of wrist watches and have now become some of the most sought after pieces of collector’s jewelry. The exhibition takes the viewer back in time to discover the attention to detail of master watch-makers from England evidenced in several unique collection pieces.
