Over 2,000 students keen to get Started
More than 2,000 students have already signed up for the program Start Internship Romania, a month since it was announced. The program offers them the opportunity to undertake a paid internship during their summer holiday in reputed Romanian and local branches of foreign companies, most of them in Bucharest. Currently over 60 firms from IT&C, FMCG, retail, consultancy and the construction field are willing to take on interns who will gain practical experience to complement their theoretical studies.

Enel program energizes young people
A new annual edition of the program Young Energy in Romania will involve approximately 250 schools and high schools in Bucharest, Banat and Dobrogea. The program is an educational initiative that aims to inform young people about the multiple possibilities in the energy sector. It will be launched by Italian energy company Enel Romania in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research.

I don't care how many times you have been to the three so-called ‘Lebanese' restaurants in this sad city; what they offer you is simple tourist-tat food. Each menu in each of the three restaurants is identical with three-four kebabs and a load of salad dishes which they con you into thinking represent a ‘mezza'. What utter bullshit.

Petrom’s ‘Respect for the Future’ gala selects winners
Petrom has decided which projects it will support at the end of the competition "Respect for the Future" that has been going on for three months. The winners will be awarded at the gala to take place on May 14. The company has decided to share its support between two projects. The first is "The Project for Community Development in Valea Muntelui" - which intends to introduce the region into the tourism and economic circuit based on the fact that it has retained its traditions for a long time.

Roberto Fonseca brings ‘la musica cubana’ to Bucharest

Date approaches for Kylie concert
Tickets for the Kylie Minogue concert in the VIP sector as well as the tickets in front of the stage have sold out. Organizers of the concert say the demand is high for the concert of the Australian artist who will perform in Bucharest on May 17 at the Cotroceni stadium. Romania was included in the European tour KYLIEX2008 organized to promote her latest album entitled "X." International Women’s Association celebrates 30 years, plans charity gala
The International Women's Association of Bucharest, an organization which promotes friendship between foreign women in Bucharest, celebrates its 30th anniversary. On this occasion, it will also organize a charitable gala for the 2008 projects on May 23rd.
