Prefab to be listed on the BSE by June
The local producer of construction materials, Prefab, will issue an IPO in the next 2 or 3 months, announces the company. The shareholders’ decision was motivated by the good financial results registered in 2009 and in Q1 of this year. The company, which is controlled by local businessman Marian Petre Milut - a well-known figure on the Romanian political scene as well, is already listed on the RASDAQ since 1997. The company is an important player on the regional construction materials’ market after having extended its distribution to Bulgaria, Serbia, Moldova and Montenegro.
