Billa opens new store in Resita, takes local network to 50 outlets

Billa Romania will open a new supermarket in Resita, in Caras Severin county. With this new opening, the retailer will have a network of 50 units throughout Romania. The new store is located on a 780-sqm surface and has over 6,000 items for sale. Billa Romania entered the local market in 1999 and is part of Rewe group, which also owns the Selgros and Penny retailers in Romania.
