First H&M store opens at AFI Palace Cotroceni

The first H&M store will open in AFI Palace Cotroceni Mega Fun, as the flagship of the H&M network in Romania. The store will take up a dedicated surface of two floors and will be inaugurated in the spring of 2011.

“The presence of H&M here certifies once again the qualities of our project and completes in an ideal way the mix of brands that we own, giving visitors all the more reason to shop in Mega Fun,” said Israel Visel, Mall Manager Mega Fun.

H&M Hennes& Mauritz AB (H&M) was founded in 1947 in Sweden and currently has approximately 76,000 employees. H&M has a retail network of approximately 2,000 stores in 37 countries.

UPDATE: H&M store to open in March 2011

The H&M store in AFI Palace will open in March of next year, according to Jones Lang LaSalle, the real estate consultancy company representing the commercial center in the transaction.
